Semis makes it easy to host events and facilitate mentorship sessions.

Hosting Events

Creating an Event

  1. Dashboard: Go to the Events tab in your organisation.
  2. New Event: Click Create Event.
  3. Details: Fill in the event title, description, date, time, and duration.
  4. Type: Choose between Online (add a meeting link) or In-Person (add a location).
  5. Publish: Click Publish to make your event live.

Managing Attendees

  • View List: Click on an event to see who has registered.
  • Export: You can export the attendee list for check-ins or communications.
  • Updates: Send updates or reminders to registered attendees directly from the event page.

Mentorship Bookings

Setting Availability (For Mentors)

  1. Profile: Go to your profile settings.
  2. Availability: Select the Availability tab.
  3. Slots: Click Add Slot to define when you are available for sessions.
  4. Recurring: You can set slots to repeat weekly.

Booking a Session (For Mentees)

  1. Find Mentor: Browse the Mentors list in your organisation.
  2. View Profile: Click on a mentor to view their expertise and availability.
  3. Select Slot: Choose a time that works for you.
  4. Confirm: Add a note about what you want to discuss and click Book Session.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • Reschedule: Both mentors and mentees can request to reschedule a session from the Bookings dashboard.
  • Cancel: If you can't make it, please cancel in advance to free up the slot.
